Sramajibi Hospital, Belur is a reputed and well known voluntary health organisation serving the middle and the low income section of the society with utmost sincerity and dedication since long. Late Bhupal Krishna Mishra’s three noble daughters viz Dr. Sabita Mishra, Ms. Sabitri Mishra Biswas (wife of late Prof. Dr. Ardhendu Biswas, eminent litterateur) Dr. Saraswati Mishra, who are also Scholars of Howrah District, donated their landed property at Bally worth Rupees Three Crores to Shramajibi Hospital for the expansion of their activities and other multifarious social work through Shramajibi Pathsala on 13th March 2016. The three sisters were felicitated on the occasion of this Foundation laying programme. Among the many dignitaries present there Sankar Kumar Sanyal, Prof. Basab Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor, West Bengal State University, Dr. Anil Saha, Secretary, addressed the Assembly. Arunjit Sinha, Phani Bhusan Bhattacharjee and other members of the committee organised the entire programme.
